Math 5A & 5B

• Master all four operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with multi-digit numbers.
• Work with fractions, decimals, and percentages in real-world problems.
• Understand and apply volume, area, and perimeter in geometric problems.
• Use order of operations and interpret numerical expressions.
• Solve multi-step word problems with logic and organization.

Science 5A

• Explore the scientific method: ask questions, form hypotheses, and conduct investigations.
• Study ecosystems, food chains, and the balance of nature.
• Learn about the properties of matter, physical changes, and mixtures.
• Begin understanding basic Earth science, including landforms and natural resources.

Technology 5

• Use keyboarding, word processing, and research tools to complete assignments.
• Practice digital citizenship, including safe searches, copyright respect, and online etiquette.
• Learn about basic coding, algorithms, and troubleshooting.

Art 5
